Making Method

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 190C/375F. Grease an 18cm × 8cm loaf pan.

Step 2: Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together.

Step 3: Mix the flours and baking soda well in a large bowl.

Step 4: Add in coconut oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Stir with a whisk until well mixed. The batter will be thick, so stir for about 5 minutes until a soft dough is formed.

Step 5: Gently fold in sugar and pour the batter into the loaf pan.

Step 6: Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
